How to cook polenta slices in an air fryer
- Preheat air fryer to 400F
- Cook for 6 minutes at 400F
- Turn once during cooking

As you can see, here I am using the pre-made San Gennaro polenta. Once opened slice the polenta into quarter inch rounds. Spray each side with cooking spray and season with salt and pepper; I usually only season one side.
This makes for a quick and efficient way to cook the polenta with minimal mess. Do be aware, as the polenta cools it can develop a slight skin.
If you’re feeling particularly fancy you can go ahead and toss some shredded cheddar cheese on the final fried product. I prefer to finish this step in the microwave for thirty seconds. You could probably achieve the same results in the air fryer with 30-60 seconds more cooking, but frankly I don’t fancy the cleanup of air fried and melted cheese in there!
