How to cook chicken breasts in an air fryer
- Preheat air fryer to 360F
- Coat chicken breasts in a little oil
- Cook for 23 minutes at 360F (see below)
- Turn chicken two or three times during cooking

The first thing to note about this recipe is your cooking time may vary ever so slightly. In the picture above you can see I am using medium-sized chicken breasts. Smaller chicken breasts might cook up closer to 20 minutes, while larger might require 25 minutes or more. Always use a kitchen safe thermometer and your common sense when cooking meat!
Secondly, a note about the temperature. I think 360F works great on chicken. You could probably cook faster at a higher heat but you’d run the risk of drying out the lean meat. 360F yields a nicely juicy piece of chicken, without too much exterior toughening.
