We love using the air fryer for cooking Beyond's iconic meat free burger patties, so figured meatballs would be just as easy. Guess what, they are! Actually they're even easier if thats possible. They have less surface area so don't stick to the fryer as much as the burgers, so no oil or spray needed here.

Hi, I’m Stuart, nice to meet you! I’m the founder, writer and wrangler at Gastronomic SLC - Utah's biggest and oldest online food magazine; I’m also a former restaurant critic of more than five years, working for the Salt Lake Tribune. I’ve worked extensively with a variety of national and local publications, not least helped to consult on national TV shows.
I’m a multiple-award winning journalist and have covered the Utah dining scene for the better part of fifteen years. I’m largely fueled by a critical obsession with rice, alliteration and the use of big words I don’t understand.
I'm also a huge fan of the air fryer, obsessively so. On a daily basis I am always asking myself, "can I air fry this". I started Air Fry Guide as a way to catalogue my own adventures in air frying, in the hope it helps others.
