How to air fry Lightlife Plant Based Sausage

  1. Preheat air fryer to 400F
  2. Spray sausages with fat free cooking spray
  3. Cook for 7 minutes at 400F, shake half way through cooking

This recipe is based of using the COSORI Air Fryer (5.8QT model, affiliate link).

These plant based sausages from Lightlife are slightly larger than their counterparts from Beyond. As such they take just a couple more minutes. The Lightlife sausages have a slightly mushier texture than the Beyond, but I find that the air fryer mitigates that somewhat, firming the texture up more so than the frying pan.

    1. Hi Jessica, my apologies for overlooking this in the post – I usually do mention that. Honestly I can’t quite remember, but I do know it’s very rare I cook from frozen for products like this. I’d never oil up a frozen item either (as it probably wouldn’t need it with the ice crystals/moisture). If I was following my own writing, knowing myself, I’d surmise these were from fresh. To defrost – I usually put my veggie links in the microwave on defrost mode for a 1-3 mins, cooking in 30 second blasts and checking along the way.
