If the BBQ isn’t an option for your freshly made chicken kabobs – consider your air fryer as the next best stand in. While you might not get the smokey flavors that you get from fat dripping on hot coals – you do still get a wonderfully juicy finish with crispy exterior.

The precise cooking time will depend on how big the chunks of chicken are on your kebob skewers. In the picture above I’ve used remade tequila and lime marinate chicken skewers from Whole Foods. These particular kabobs are on the larger side so took close to 16 minutes to reach the magic 165F and above mark throughout.

Another side note about kebobs in an air fryer – they can be tricky to fit in the air fryer basket. I managed to fit two into my Cosori kinda in a diagonal fashion. If you have a smaller air fryer you might want to keep this in mind. I suppose you could layer your kebobs atop each other in an alternating diagonal layout but the cooking time would increase.

Please ensure your food is always thoroughly cooked. We recommend investing in a reliable kitchen thermometer. Check out the affordable selection on Amazon - there's something at every price point.
