- Preheat air fryer
- Cook Tenders at 400F for 8 minutes
- Flip half way through
- Cook for an extra 2 minuets (10 minutes total) for extra crispy
Eight minutes gets these batter dipped chicken tenders well past the 165F mark – and crisps the exterior up quite nicely as you can see below. That said, I did find some minor gumminess between the batter and chicken laters, you might want to cook a tad longer. I should also note there’s a decent amount of fat locked up in these so they do tend to generate some smoke at the 400F cooking temp.
