Spot prawn preparation notes
You might first need to clean your prawns depending on where you sourced them from. We love to use Catch Sitka (affiliate link, we get a referral fee, use code STUART15 and get $15 off orders over $125 for first time customers) for amazingly fresh spot prawns. These prawns often need to have roe removed, or shell removed.
Once the prawns are cleaned, you can then choose to marinate them for a little extra pop if you like – I recommend you do. I use a rough mix of olive oil, garlic, lemon juice and soy. Salt and pepper, maybe some herb blend too. Here’s a shot of the prawns before marination and also after cooking atop a Caesar salad – a great mix!
