Chicken thighs are absolutely amazing in the air fryer. Why? The higher fat content (compared to leaner chicken breasts) means it is really hard to overcook and dry out chicken thighs in the air fryer.
This means if you find your chicken thighs need a little longer than the prescribed 25 minutes, you can happily cook them longer safe in the knowledge they’ll remain really juicy. Do note the skin will begin to crisp around the 20-25 minute mark.
