How to cook Dino Buddies using an air fryer
- Preheat air fryer to 400F
- Set temperature to 400F and set timer for 5 minutes (at least, see below)
- Turn Dino Buddies once during cooking to ensure even cooking
We used the COSORI to air fry this (affiliate link, we get a fee), always check your food with a good kitchen thermometer.
The microwave is obviously the fastest way to cook up this quick snack, but the air fryer does provide a crisper finish. I find five minutes takes the Buddies well over 165F (but always do check to be safe and sure – see below on test temps!). That said there is still some interior gumminess.
I find the very best results are achieved if you cook for 8 minutes in total. The gumminess subsides and the texture is much better in terms of crispness.
