This recipe is for breakfast style patties made from the Impossible Sausage product, pictured above. The raw Impossible Sausage is quite sticky so I like to form the patties using some cling film. Spoon some of the raw meat onto cling film on a flat surface, then wrap the plastic wrap over to seal. Form into a ball, then press flat on a surface to create a well formed and even patty.

From there, carefully unwrap and they should pop right out into the air fryer. I like to make them about 1/4 of an inch thick – which neatly fits in a regular muffin. You can of course go as thick or thin as you like. When cooking these, there’s no need to add oil, they have plenty locked in, so they shouldn’t stick.

Bonus points – don’t forget you can cook your English muffin at the same time as your sausage too! See our guide here.
