How to cook Blake’s Chicken Pot Pie in an air fryer

  1. Preheat air fryer to 380F
  2. Cook for 25 minutes total

This recipe is based of using the COSORI Air Fryer (5.8QT model, affiliate link).

Pot pies can be a tricky dish to master in the air fryer. Results can vary between fryer devices and obviously, through the size of the pie. As ever always be super careful checking your food is cooked to temp (165 or higher in this instance). This one is for Blake’s 8 ounce chicken pot pie.

This pie from Blake’s took me 25 minutes in total. I removed the outer cardboard box, removed the plastic wrap, and cooked it inside its little plastic/cardboard shell.

If you find your pie isn’t completely cooked to temp, 45-60 seconds extra in the microwave usually does the trick. With the Blake’s pie you can’t really return to the air fryer once it comes out of its package, since this isn’t a pie with wrap about pastry. Once you remove the tray, the fillings will spill out.

  1. Used these instructions for the Blake’s Shepherd’s Pie and worked like a charm. I preheated at 380 for 3 minutes, cooked at 380 for 26 minutes, came out perfectly. I have the Dreo 4 qt air fryer, so other models might need a little tweaking.

  2. The gluten-free one took 5 minutes more but overall thanks for the perfect advice! I was too chicken (pardon the pun) to try it without a recommendation

  3. I brushed the top of mine with olive oil and kept it in the tray it came in, air fryed it at 380 for 30 mins and it was perfect!!
