How to cook polenta slices in an air fryer

  1. Preheat air fryer to 400F
  2. Cook for 6 minutes at 400F
  3. Turn once during cooking

We used the COSORI to air fry this (affiliate link, we get a fee), always check your food with a good kitchen thermometer.

As you can see, here I am using the pre-made San Gennaro polenta. Once opened slice the polenta into quarter inch rounds. Spray each side with cooking spray and season with salt and pepper; I usually only season one side.

This makes for a quick and efficient way to cook the polenta with minimal mess. Do be aware, as the polenta cools it can develop a slight skin.

If you’re feeling particularly fancy you can go ahead and toss some shredded cheddar cheese on the final fried product. I prefer to finish this step in the microwave for thirty seconds. You could probably achieve the same results in the air fryer with 30-60 seconds more cooking, but frankly I don’t fancy the cleanup of air fried and melted cheese in there!
