Tried it on the Cosori 5.8,….like a third of a pack. The unit was pre-heated. They could have gone a couple more minutes, yet I know that sweet potato fries generally don’t ever get crispy because of the lack of starch.
I really do think timing is different for every brand of air fryer. I suggest just doing a couple of fries at different temps to figure out your air fryer. Stacking them is a whole different story. I just got my air fryer- I’m an experienced cook- and I know it’s gonna take me a while for my brain to switch over 🙂
Stacking for sure makes things slower/not as good. Hopefully the recipes here are a good starting point for most, tweak as needs be. I tend to keep the basket not overcrowded when I cook – working in batches if I need to cook lots. Happy cooking! Keep me posted! 🙂
We loooooove this brand of fries. We just got an air fryer and they are the best ever! Crispy outside and soft inside. They can be addictive
You might say I am a bit obsessed with my air fryer too 😉 Glad to hear you’re loving yours!
8 monutes in our Instant Pot air fryer was not long enough, especially for the larger fries. Next attemot will be for 10 minutes.
Thanks for the feedback Roy, I am sure this will help others. Obviously there’s a little variance depending on your model of air fryer – so again – thanks for the notes in case it helps another owned of the Instant Pot.
