How to cook Gardein Lightly Breaded Turk’y Cutlets in an air fryer

These vegan friendly turkey cutlets are delicious – especially when they come fresh from the air fryer. The Gardein Turk’y product is essentially the same product as their nugget and chicken strips, here coated with a breadcrumb coating that crisps up nicely with some cooking spray.

  1. Preheat air fryer
  2. Liberally spray each side of the turkey cutlet with cooking spray
  3. Cook at 400F for 10 minutes, flip half way through

We used the COSORI to air fry this (affiliate link, we get a fee), always check your food with a good kitchen thermometer.

  1. I have a Cosori airfryer oven (recentl airfryer user)and used the instructions, but it wasn’t crisp at all. Should raise the temperature or leave in longer? I didn’t check the temperature, but it was hot on the inside. Any suggestions would be much appreciated by the airfryer newbie! Thanks for the advice and recipe.

      1. Hi Kay, mine doesnt have the option for bake or air fry – I am guessing the bake option turns off the fan – which is the cool thing with air fryers, the hot air is circulated at speed by a fan.

  2. I would “lightly” spray on oil as “liberally” creates way too much smoke. Otherwise they came out beautifully.
