Naturally a lot here depends with exactly *how* thin your pork is. These from Kroger were probably close to a quarter inch – super thin. As such they took just four minutes. If you have thicker pieces of pork, cook longer and always use a thermometer. I like 360F as the temp to keep the cooking time quick, but not drying out the pork too much For regular pork chops check out this guide.
Thin cut pork chops are a healthy protein choice that work well in a number of dishes; they also cook up exceedingly quickly and simply when using an air fryer. There's no splatter or mess either too - when comapred with pan frying.

Hi, I’m Stuart, nice to meet you! I’m the founder, writer and wrangler at Gastronomic SLC - Utah's biggest and oldest online food magazine; I’m also a former restaurant critic of more than five years, working for the Salt Lake Tribune. I’ve worked extensively with a variety of national and local publications, not least helped to consult on national TV shows.
I’m a multiple-award winning journalist and have covered the Utah dining scene for the better part of fifteen years. I’m largely fueled by a critical obsession with rice, alliteration and the use of big words I don’t understand.
I'm also a huge fan of the air fryer, obsessively so. On a daily basis I am always asking myself, "can I air fry this". I started Air Fry Guide as a way to catalogue my own adventures in air frying, in the hope it helps others.
Preheat air fryer to 400F Cook for 4 minutes at 400F This reheating trick works just as well for the regular Mcdonald’s Chicken Nuggets or the brand new spicy nuggets as well. In fact, you can reheat both at the same time like in the picture above, if you like! For reference I cooked these…
Preheat air fryer to 400F Add frozen crab cakes to air fryer Cook for 23 minutes at 400F Turn cakes two or three times – very carefully – during cooking These ball shaped crab cakes are quite thick in their frozen format. That means it takes some time to cook the cakes all the way through…
Preheat air fryer to 400F Set temperature to 400F and cook for 15 minutes I found these breaded okra pieces from Great Value surprisingly dry. They also took quite a long time to cook too. While they’re at temp around 10 minutes, a decent crisp didn’t develop until around the 15 minute mark. If I…
Preheat air fryer to 400F Prepare sprouts (see below) Cook for 7 minutes at 400F Shake sprouts once during cooking I love using the air fryer to cook up Brussels sprouts. Boiling is fine, but boring. Baking is good, but loooong. Air frying? You end up with sweetly caramelized sprouts that cook up in a…
Preheat air fryer to 400F Set temperature to 400F and cook for 6 minutes Turn strips half way through Cook up to ten minutes in total for extra crispiness These Nashville-styled strips from Banquet have a fun vinegar-sharp heat to them, but in truth never really crisp up like on the eye catching package. I’ve…
