Naturally a lot here depends with exactly *how* thin your pork is. These from Kroger were probably close to a quarter inch – super thin. As such they took just four minutes. If you have thicker pieces of pork, cook longer and always use a thermometer. I like 360F as the temp to keep the cooking time quick, but not drying out the pork too much For regular pork chops check out this guide.
Thin cut pork chops are a healthy protein choice that work well in a number of dishes; they also cook up exceedingly quickly and simply when using an air fryer. There's no splatter or mess either too - when comapred with pan frying.

Hi, I’m Stuart, nice to meet you! I’m the founder, writer and wrangler at Gastronomic SLC - Utah's biggest and oldest online food magazine; I’m also a former restaurant critic of more than five years, working for the Salt Lake Tribune. I’ve worked extensively with a variety of national and local publications, not least helped to consult on national TV shows.
I’m a multiple-award winning journalist and have covered the Utah dining scene for the better part of fifteen years. I’m largely fueled by a critical obsession with rice, alliteration and the use of big words I don’t understand.
I'm also a huge fan of the air fryer, obsessively so. On a daily basis I am always asking myself, "can I air fry this". I started Air Fry Guide as a way to catalogue my own adventures in air frying, in the hope it helps others.
Preheat air fryer to 400F Add prepared reuben (see below) to air fryer Cook at 400F for 6-8 minutes, turn carefully half way through The exact cooking length depends on your bread thickness, 6mins thin, 8 mins thicker I’m going to say it, I’m going to put it out there – the Reuben Sandwich might…
Preheat air fryer to 400F Spray dogs with fat free cooking oil Cook for five minutes at 400F Flip the Smart Dogs during cooking The fat content in these meat free hot dogs is relatively low by hot dog standards. As such, they tend not to crisp too much in the air fryer. A little…
Preheat air fryer to 340F Cook for eight minutes in total Shake sausage/s once or twice during cooking I like the lower temperature of 340F with these chicken sausages from Boar’s Head. I find that helps keep the skin from bursting, and losing too much fat in the cooking process. That results in a really…
Preheat air fryer to 400F Set temperature to 400F and cook for 7 minutes Shake Tater Tots once during cooking While seven minutes is certainly enough to give these Tater Tots that golden-yellow finish, the interior is still a little on the softer side. You might want to cook another 2-3 minutes depending on your…
Preheat air fryer to 400F Cook for 7 minutes at 400F, or Cook for 8 minutes at 400F crispier, more well done finish These skinny fries can go from slightly undercooked to overcooked in the blink of an eye. The first time you cook these I’d recommend testing the fries at six, seven and eight…
Hats off to Walmart for including air frying instructions for this product right on the bag. The brand recommends a 360F degree heated fryer for 12-13 minutes to cook these (see below). I actually cook them a little differently myself, shaving a few minutes off the cooking time. Hey every little helps right! Preheat air…
